Privacy Policy
What We Collect
To issue and administer your citizenship, we keep a private record of your email address, authentication method, your chosen public alias, and your payment status. This information is stored in a private database — never on the public ledger.
What Never Touches the Public Ledger
- Legal name
- Email address
- Billing address
- Payment information
- Private account details
- Government identification
- Exact physical location
What Is Public
The following information is recorded publicly, on the ledger and in the census:
- Citizen number
- Public alias
- Public citizen vault address
- Citizenship era and issue date
- Passport status
- Public contribution history references
- Constitutional vote references (once voting begins)
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Your Public Profile
You can disable your public profile from the citizen dashboard at any time, which removes your alias and history from the public census. Your citizen number and on-ledger record remain, since the public ledger cannot be edited after the fact.
